Montreal Pre-Fashion Week Excitment:

The Christan L"Enfant Roi & by THOMAS collaborative Spring/Summer 2012 Fashion show went down last Wednesday @ the Saint-Jean-Baptiste Church on Rachel in Montreal.

I fell in love with the designer's last collection and was completely blown away by what he has created this time around!  The little boy, dreamer, adventurer look makes me think 'Indian in the Cupboard' vs. Little House on the Prairie' I absolutely love the collection.   I want a pine cone necklace, a raw knit slippers & shawl to pair with a cotton print onesy!

 

Models stood like statuesque gargoyles on the church steps as eery classic music drifted out from within.   Great presentation, it caused quite the buzz for walker-bys.

The best part about the show was the guests' attire, there were some awesome outfits out that night, 

it was refreshing to see how outrageous people got, it wasn't what I was expecting to see in Montreal and am happy to see how fashion forward this Canadian cities are.

A fine young gentleman! Prom Style

I spotted this guy at my cousins Prom, his outfit was awesome!!! Slim fit check, fierce bowtie,.. right down to the brown brogues, I can appreciate this.  After asking him where he got his suit he told me ” My mom is like my stylist, she took me to Simons.”

I want to meet this lady!

My Cousin Wears my Haute Couture to her Prom.

 To finalize my Fashion Design degree at LaSalle College (Montreal.)   I designed a Couture collection inspired by Famous Architect Antonio Gaudi.   I was honored when my cousin asked if she could wear it to her high school prom. 

She looks so beautiful!
